Job description:

Visible City is the keynote project of the 2010 Melbourne Fringe Festival. Melbourne Fringe is looking for twelve artists from around Australia and New Zealand to participate in this exciting collaborative project.

Artists working in hybrid, interdisciplinary and live art practices are encouraged to apply. Those selected will live and work in a communal space called the ‘house’ for the duration of the 2010 Melbourne Fringe Festival (22

September – 10 October) in Melbourne, Australia.

Artists will respond to a series of provocations, and create live art works throughout the Festival that interact with the Melbourne cityscape. You will be asked to work quickly, use initiative and intuition, and to create work that is urgent, needed and connected to the present. Artists will work solo or collaboratively with others selected for the project.

As part of our Made by Melbourne Fringe program, this project is developed, curated and produced by Melbourne Fringe.
