Job description:

I am looking for 2 female and 1 male contemporary dancers / performers for a 3 minute music art video. One of these dancers would need to be a chorographer.

I am looking for dancers whom are interested in working collaboratively with the director. Movement material will be constructed through making choreography and structured improvisations for the actual shoot.

I will be needing 3 dancers for –
ON LOCATION: 2 nights (approx 5 hours each night)
GREEN SCREEN FOR USE OF DIGITAL EFFECTS: 2 nights (approx 4 hours each night)
REHEARSAL TIMES BEFORE SHOOT: 2 x 2 ½ hour rehearsals

Location shooting dates will be Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April, and green-screen shooting dates are Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 April. All shooting times are at night.

I am currently finishing my Masters in Theatre and Film Arts and this video will premiere at Toi Whakaari Drama School, with the intention of screening on television later in the year.

This is a low-budget film shoot, so payment is minimal. You will also receive your own copy of the video. This project is suitable for recent dance graduates and professionals wanting to gain experience working in film as a dancer and choreographer.
