Backup dancer for Scarlett Lashes

Scarlett Lashes is looking for a backup dancer to join her small but energetic dance troupe for a performance at the Kings Arms on Wed 12th May and also hopefully for future performances.  The dancing style is contemporary, with a humorous element.  If you love to dance, like to do a bit of booty shaking and wear outlandish costumes then this is for you!  You don't need to be an experienced dancer.  We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and a sense of humour.

We would be rehearsing on Sunday afternoons and one evening in the week, either a Tues or Thurs evening.

A schizophrenic and scary puzzle of electroclash. Scarlett sings trash about her past loves, her new loves, and her sweet cupcakes. Scarlett is a dirty girl who likes her dirty boys and smutty ladies. A show of electro clash manic songs, ridiculous dance, cooking lessons, and many laughs which may leave the audience feeling a little dirty themselves. 

Scarlett Lashes has been trashing it up in the past year in venues across Auckland, receiving positive and constructive feedback.

Scarlett also recently returned from a tour around the South Island, rocking out with the wild west coasters to 3am on a Sunday. Hell those southern folk sure know how to party.
