Various roles required for short film musical
Auditions for new Waikato short film Maggie’s story (working title) are to be held May 8th/9th at Hamilton New Place Theatre. Roles to be auditioned are: 2 principle female leads (playing early 20s), dance experience advantageous but not essential; 1 principle male (playing late 20s) love interest; older woman (playing 60/70s); 1 male principle (playing 15/16); non-principle female (mid 30s). Story centers around musical theatre reminiscences from Grandma who suffers from Alzheimer’s being conveyed to grandson. Film to be shot 2 weeks in August.
