Hip Hop Dance Tutor/Choreographer
StarJam is a not-for-profit organisation offering performance opportunities to young people with disabilities. StarJam kids gain confidence, empowerment, new friends, new hope and new purpose.
StarJam participants are a bunch of warm, fun-loving dancers (under the age of 25) who are hungry to develop their talents and perform on stage.
We are looking for a reliable, energetic tutor with the required skills (listed) to tutor workshops from 6:30-8:00pm in South Auckland, one weekday evening a week during the school terms. Responsibilities include:
- Developing and choreographing content for stage
- Creating workshop content and tutoring workshops
- Providing regular feedback to StarJam staff
- Taking part in occasional meetings and celebrations.
This is a part-time contract position and we would love someone to commit long-term to the role.
