Talent Manager/ Talent Booker

• Manage and motivate a pool of promotional talent
• A minimum of two years relevant experience
• Be a specialist “recruiter” within a creative events/experiential agency

Mango is renowned for creating and managing exceptional events for many of New Zealand’s best known companies. One of our points of difference is the quality of our talent/promotional staff who must always look the part, be well educated on an organisation’s brand objectives and, most importantly, enjoy their assignments.  Our Talent Manager is integral to the success of every event we run.

We are looking for an organised recruiter or talent booker, who can manage a high calibre pool of talent, from models to comedians, wine samplers and fire breathers.  This is a broad role involving selecting new talent, briefing and training on the expectations, sourcing and fitting uniforms, payroll admin and even sometimes managing the event staff on the day.

• A well networked person who genuinely enjoys events
• Excellent interview and assessment skills
• Have a discerning eye for identifying those that will become reliable brand ambassadors
• Be an excellent and clear communicator
• Be able to bring out the best in people

You will thrive on working within a passionate extroverted team, who brainstorm one day and knuckle down and plan projects the next.  They will value your ability to juggle several events at once and calmly handle whatever is thrown your way.
