Our new show "EMERGE" is a showcase for emerging talent, providing a platform to gain experience over the coming summer season at Rotorua's beautiful Blue Baths. The Show is Cabaret/Musical Theatre in style, featuring mixed genre of music, utilising various amazing performance spaces within the venue, celebrating the rich and colourful history of this heritage listed 1930s Bathhouse.Successful applicants will be required to live in Rotorua (or close by) for the summer - some accommodation is available. The show will generally be held twice weekly. There is also opportunity for those with relevant skills to entertain in our house bar "Summertime" as well as potential for individuals to perform at our other scheduled events – weddings, corporate events and local functions. We hope to particularly hear from performing arts and music students,who may use this opportunity to gain real experience – and be paid! over the summer period. We have both part-time and full-time positions available.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
Looking to create a 1930's style band, with dancers to dance various 1930's styles, and singers/ actors with beautiful voices and ability to entertain! This will be a fun, vibrant summer show.
