Graphic Design Intern

Struggling to get your foot in the door? We’ve got a 9 week internship available starting ASAP. We understand the challenge of finding work and are offering the opportunity for you to generate great examples of commercial design. This will expand and bring about great opportunities! Gopher is a business online directory, New Zealand’s 2nd fastest growing technology company (Deloitte Technology Fast 500). We’re expanding at a rapid rate and want some fresh thinkers and eager to learn designers.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on some new projects we are expanding into such as:

• Potentially Mobile application designs:  Androids, and the Blackberry (Application design)
• Gopher Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, and other countries we will soon be launching into (Website imagery and possibly a revamp design of the website)
• Gopher Advertising (collaborate with Gopher’s Lead designer and advertising coordinator for potential campaigns)
• Gopher Social Media collateral (Facebook Landing pages, Twitter and YouTube backgrounds)
• Gopher internal sales collateral (Publications, manuals and brochures)

You may get to work on client branding, competition Landing pages, Posters and stickers depending on schedules and urgency.

This an great opportunity for you to develop new insight to interactive design and be involved in producing products that will be used and seen globally. We don’t promise anything but most of our interns walk away more experienced and with a portfolio of great commercial work.
