2010 iD Dunedin Emerging Designer Awards
The 2010 iD Dunedin Emerging Designer Awards are now open for applications from around the world, with an exciting new jewellery design section.
The iD Emerging Designer Awards, now in their sixth year have established a reputation as a launchpad for cutting-edge local and international fashion design talent. This event attracts emerging designers from across the globe, allowing them to gain invaluable experience in what is perhaps their first professional event.
Bringing a new dimension to the Emerging Designer Awards, a jewellery design section has been created.
The iD Dunedin Emerging Designer Awards offer highly sought after prizes and include $5000 for first place, $3000 for second and $1000 for third. Other special prizes yet to be announced.
To enter the iD Dunedin Emerging Designer Awards designers must be recent graduates (within the past five years) or final year students from a recognised Diploma, BDes, BA or MA Fashion or fashion (or MA Jewellery) related course.
Applications must be received by Friday 27 November. The Awards will take place in Dunedin on Thursday 11 March 2010.
