A piece of my art for a piece of yours...
A leading New Zealand tattoo artist has decided that its finely time to get an internet identity.
But...this needs to be a whole lot more than building just a basic website. When finished the design will hopefully be:
Informative
Great to look at
Easy to navigate
Easy to update (especially images)
...and incorporate technology that makes looking at images and video (with some sound) a pleasurable experience.
The site will be a whole lot more than just another generic tattoo shop site. It has to incorporate galleries that showcase artwork, sculpturing, and tattooing.
Hence there will need to be room for:
A photo gallery with room for 25-50 photos (if possible)
A flash video
A Blog
There will be payment for the job based on experience and design ability, but for any skin art fans, there can be payment in ink if that is your thing. You will be liaising with a filmmaker-photographer to bring the site to life.
A visually inventive person with a can-do attitude is paramount. Great ideas and and understanding of tattoo culture will be an asset.
