We are now looking for an innovative and enthusiastic lecturer to primarily teach the diverse student group on our Certificate in Design and Visual Arts although may also be required to teach into other programmes. Our certificate programme has been running very successfully for two years and offers an introduction to the fundamental principles and practices of design and visual arts.  It is vital that top quality teaching is provided to students at this introductory stage so that they can maximize their potential and understand the opportunities and pathways open to them.  It is also expected that the successful applicant will have the capacity to contribute to both the administration and research goals of the department.

Applicants must have:

• At least undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline (a postgraduate degree
would be desirable)
• Proven experience in teaching at tertiary level
• A proven track record in research and advanced practice and commitment to furthering research development
