The Bay of Plenty Polytechnic has an exciting opportunity for an energetic person to join our School of Design & Humanities as a Graphic Design tutor teaching on a range of programmes including Certificate and Diploma level 5 and 6.
We are looking for a dedicated professional who has software skills (including CS4 - the full adobe creative suite) as well as a thorough knowledge of the graphic industry from initial design concepts, research and client approvals through to print ready artwork. It is also preferred that candidates have knowledge of design history and theory.
It is essential that the successful candidate holds a qualification in Design at Masters level as well as having a minimum of five years experience in the graphic design industry. Experience with teaching adults would be an advantage.
