Job description: 

Due to a recent vacancy, Dunedin City Council is looking for a new Urban Designer to join our City Development Team.

You will be part of a team that is responsible for delivering amenity improvements across the city and for coordinating cross-Council strategies for the regeneration of key locations. You will also become involved in a variety of other projects - including providing comment on resource consent applications, assisting with the District Plan review, and providing Urban Design advice to other Council departments.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have qualification in urban design, architecture or landscape architecture; along with at least three years post graduation work experience; and have or be working towards membership of a professional organisation.

Please note shortlisted applicants will be required to provide proof of academic qualification.
