Senior Web designer

We are looking for a Senior Web Designer to become a key member of our web design and development company. We are an award-winning company dedicated to creating beautiful, usable websites.

We are looking for someone with:

• Excellent graphic design and typographic skills with a passion for interface design
• 2 - 4 years experience in the web and graphic design industry
• Ideally a formal design education
• Working knowledge of CSS and HTML (although the focus for this role is on the design rather than technical skills)
• An understanding of designing for the web, its requirements and limitations
• Advanced level of competence in graphic software - Adobe / Macromedia
• The successful applicant will be a great thinker, responsible & friendly, have good communication skills, be highly motivated and show initiative.

Duties will include:

• Contribute to high-level design thinking and strategy for projects
• Produce concept design work for web and print projects
• Provide hands on design work for all levels of design projects
• Ensure continuity of design excellence from a project's conception through to completion
• Work with our clients both at design presentation stage and also liaising with them throughout the design development process
• Continually research all aspects of graphic design, especially web design, and advise management team appropriately to ensure Springload can maintain a standard of design excellence
• Attend client meetings with the Account / Project Manager and contribute to the planning of projects.
