Film Graphics Artists + Animators
Looking for After Effects artists as well as Graphic Artists/Illustrators, who would like to be part of a great post-production team on a local feature length documentary film. Several graphic pieces need to be prepared over the next two months. The works will incorporate static and moving elements. Please apply even if you feel you are strong in only one area (static art or After Effects). Skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects are preferred along offcourse with the ability to use a Mac. We are interested in mixed media works however there is room for creative discussion about this. There may even be an opportunity to play with stop-motion animation. This film is aimed at international festival competition in 2010. Suited to artists who seek greater experience and further exposure or someone who is awesomely talented and just wants to work with a driven creative team on an engaging, unique and topical project. Job is not full time although commitment, dedication and and ability to meet goals and deadlines is a requirement. This project is currently unfunded therefore payment cannot be offered. Some materials costs may be discussed. Funding applications are in the works but as yet there is no guarantee that these funds will be awarded to us.
