Intermediate to Senior Graphic Designer

We are seeking an Intermediate to Senior Graphic Designer with 3-4+ years experience to join our busy and committed team in our Newmarket Support Office.

Working closely with the Art Director, you will contribute to the direction and design of the brand and it’s materials. You will have a strong creative flair coupled with an ability to tackle large projects from start to finish. You will be able to take the lead on design briefs and provide various solutions to match, as well as follow up to ensure exceptional quality of the final product. This is a varied and exciting opportunity for a well established designer to take a step towards fashion retail design in their career.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain brand standards throughout the company including it’s many internal brands and contribute to the development of new ones.
• Design external marketing collateral in alignment with our brand.
• Create and distribute sale, promotional and events signage.
• Design and update internal material and documents ongoing.
• Support with seasonal campaigns and promotional events.
• Accountability for ad hoc and new brand projects including product design, packaging, advertising, store signage and brand guidelines.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• 3-4+ years experience in a design agency or inhouse design.
• Design and typography training – minimum diploma in communication design/graphic arts.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Well versed in Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash.
• Web development or animation programme knowledge will be heavily regarded.
• Excellent creative flair and ideas, with the ability to make them a reality. 
• Exceptional typographic and layout skills.
• Can tackle large projects from start to finish with minimal direction – you will need proven project management and organisational skills. 
• Proven branding and brand management skills.
• As required can take direction and is open to feedback.
• Comfortable with providing supervision and support/guidance to others.
• An interest to learn more with the motivation to gain new skills. 
• Ambitious and driven. Aims high and loves design. Will not settle for second best and goes over and above to finish on top.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• An interest in fashion will be highly regarded.
