Interactive Developer

Click Suite are working in the innovative interactive media world, increasingly delivering interactive installations into museums, retail and commercial spaces. These allow audiences to interact with images via touch, gesture, proximity, sound, etc. We also create web applications and have a few handpicked websites that we look after.

It’s a world  chocka with innovation and challenges and we’re looking for a reliable, energetic, (senior) developer to lead on projects and add even more innovations and ideas.

Your experience:

Ideally you’ll have a solid background in web-based application development using Microsoft technologies,  .net / C#, along with database (SQL) C++ and other lower level technologies. It’d be seriously fab if you were also a bit of a maths/physics nerd (nicely) and have experience in programming games or mathematical simulations. And ... you’ll need to be super keen to take on projects in new technologies that build on your skills (Silverlight, Actionscript, Mobile apps, etc)

Specific skills we’re after:

• .Net 3.5/C#
• ASP.Net & MVC
• SQL Server 2005
• Subversion
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript jQuery

And it'd be real nice of you also had some experience in:

• C++
• Working with multimedia
• Create coding frameworks (Processing, openFrameworks, Cinder, Max, OpenCV, PD)
• Flash/Flex (Actionscript 3)
• Mobile app development (including iPhone)

The role:

This is definitely a hands-on developer role, and you’ll need to be able to organise your time and your projects (perhaps working with other developers or contractors) and be great at problem solving.

Did we mention we’re looking for someone nice? We’re a small team, we love our work, and we like to have fun while we do it – so a sense of humour is not a nice added extra, it’s a must.
