Design Assembly would like to collaborate with people in the creative industries who want to share their knowledge and expertise.

Following a successful series of workshops in 2010, we are looking for new people to develop workshops for graphic designers in 2011.

The workshops are based in Auckland and contributors are remunerated.

Design Assembly is looking to run 9 workshops between March and November 2011 (one per month). Workshops will be held at either AUT Art and Design School or The Biz Dojo in the IronBank Building, K Road.

If you are interested in presenting a workshop, please email a brief outline of your proposed workshop and a brief bio of yourself to louise@designassembly.org.nz by Friday 11th February.

Design Assembly Background: Established in 2008, Design Assembly serves the community of New Zealand graphic designers.

Design Assembly is dedicated to sharing ideas, information and inspiration to strength the graphic design community in New Zealand.

Design Assembly achieves this currently through; quarterly discussion and networking events in Auckland, a website of fresh regular content submitted by graphic designers throughout New Zealand and CPD workshops held in Auckland.

The aim of the Design Assembly workshops is to provide relevant training and education on a variety of topics of interest to graphic designers who want to pursue continuing professional development.

Design Assembly strives to keep workshop numbers to between 10 and 20 people per session and to make the cost of the workshops affordable.
