We are looking for experienced Wellington based Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator users to become freelance trainers. You will be supported with appropriate training and courseware so you can enjoy this relaxed turn-key teaching experience.

Are you confident in your Adobe skills and looking for freelance/contract work? Do you want the reliability of ongoing work but the flexibility to allow you continue other interests? Then we would love for you to consider a role here with us at Bring Your Own Laptop media training school.

Bring Your Own Laptop is a specialist IT training centre for the creative industries. With our unique 'bring your own' style of training we deliver certified training at our Auckland and Wellington training suites or at our clients own site all over New Zealand. Our core value is to deliver a training experience that is above and beyond what delegates would expect.

You will get consistency and clarity by working from our yearly schedule. At this stage we will need someone to take a full weeks course every 6-8 weeks. This could increase depending on how the Wellington market grows.

Classes run from 10am-4:30pm allowing you to miss the stress of Wellington traffic and instead turn up rested at our beautiful training facility on The Terrace (great coffee supplied). Our senior trainer will support you with your course material while our office manager will make sure your day flows smoothly.

Day rates are dependent on experience and skill set and will range from $30-$40 per/hour.

Your delegates will consist of small groups (3-9 delegates) and will all be working professionals themselves. They will look to you for both technical skills and guidance in their new career path. This type of support proves very rewarding for you as a BYOL trainer.

All course material and trainer notes are supplied. Helping you stay focussed and confident with this 'turn key' training system.

Becoming a BYOL trainer will excel your current technical knowledge as well as broadening your creative skill set.
