Lecturer in Fashion Design and Practice
The Wintec School of Media Arts’ Diploma in Fashion Design and Practice programme emphasises the relationship between design, production and distribution, and also provides students with practical business skills.
We are seeking staff with expertise in fashion design and production and fashion business. You must have a demonstrated professional and/or teaching expertise and will be seeking to work in a dynamic educational environment.
You are expected to have specialist fashion knowledge in one or more of the following: design, manufacture, distribution, business, fashion history, the fashion industry, fashion specific software and technologies.
We are looking for someone with a strong professional profile and expertise in demonstrated networks in both education and the fashion industry. This is a position that may suit someone seeking to integrate their professional and educational experience.
We offer a flexible work environment, with 7-9 weeks paid leave per year. The School will actively support you to maintain and enhance professional currency with 2-4 weeks paid professional development leave per year.
