Art in the Dark 2011 is now open for artistic applications.

In October 2010, Art in the Dark lit up Western Park with over 30 art and sound installations, sculptures, films and performances. The event was an amazing success with over 10,000 people attending over 2 nights, and received extensive media coverage via Nightline, No Magazine, Threaded magazine, Urbanism and more.

By popular demand Art in the Dark is back for 2011, and aims to be bigger and even better than last year.

Projects we hope to see included:

Kinetic Structures/Sculptures; Light Installations; Interactive Projects; Spatial Projects; Landscape Community Projects; Sound Installations; Short Films; Artworks; Performances.

Please download the artist guidelines and brief and send your application to celia@artinthedark.co.nz by Friday 19th of August.
