Experienced fashion technician
This permanent part time position is a support role for staff and students on the fashion programmes offered at Otago Polytechnic.
This customer-focused role would suit a highly efficient, well-organised and energetic person who enjoys variety in their job and has a particular interest in and knowledge of the fashion industry. You will be working closely with staff and students to ensure the efficient ordering, management and distribution of teaching resources and the ongoing management of teaching equipment and spaces.
This position would suit someone with:
• technical ability and a working knowledge of the fashion industry and production practices
• experience in ordering supplies, record keeping and stock management
• a record of excellent customer service skills
• proven experience with MS Office and an ability to learn new software (training is provided).
