Off the cuff : crew wanted!
‘Off the Cuff’ will be an entirely ‘performance based’ New Zealand music show pilot episode. The concept will do away with the conventional tools of a music show, there will be no hosts , no live studio audience, no studio. Artists will be invited to perform a live session in whatever setting they please, weather it be attic or up a tree. It will attempt to span genres and bridge the gap between studio recording , music video and live performance. As well as serve entertainment purposes, the project should also act as a documentation of the local live music scene at the time. New Zealand has a strong arts culture , especially musically , however attempts to document and keep track of its history has been, sporadic at best.
There will be three, one day shoots (one band per day) that will take place over the period of late august - September.This project requires multipal camera operators, as well as photograpghers and anyone that can lend a hand in any aspect of the project. For this project enthusiasm and passion is more important than experience.
