What’s the story? Christchurch Casino develops, designs and delivers numerous communicative and promotional collateral, including posters, brochures, newspaper ads, digital media and branded product for events held both in-house and externally.

The ideal candidate we’re looking for is creative, self-motivated, has a minimum of 4 years experience designing for print within a corporate or gaming environment, and has familiarity with web content management software. It is essential they have excellent organisation and time management skills, confidence in negotiating with suppliers and customers, an eye for detail and concern for high quality output. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member with a friendly and fun personality, a ‘can do’ team attitude, and the initiative to find a workable solution when things don’t go as planned! Our ideal candidate will be proactive in improving current processes and areas of visual communication, with experience in project management and team leadership.

A current knowledge of Adobe CS in a Mac environment is required, as is the ability to utilise our inhouse production area for the output of design work. This role carries the final responsibility for all design and print projects.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their design experience and post-design skills within a progressive company.

This is a fixed-term full time salaried role (12 months to cover parental leave), working 40 hours per week, however you will need to have the flexibility to work varying hours as we often run to tight deadlines.
