3D Animation Tutor

Award winning Media Design School is internationally recognised for developing creative professionals with the right skills and attitude that allows them to hit the ground running in the digital creative industries. This includes 3D animation, game development, graphic design, web development.

The school is looking for talented and capable 3D artist to join the 3D department to inspire, develop and teach the next generation of creative talent for the 3D industries.

You will have at least 3 years recent industry experience as a 3D artist with specialist skills in at least one area such as character animation, modelling, lighting, texturing, rigging etc.

The breadth of your creative knowledge is important as you will also guide and mentor students in creative 3D projects over a wide range of 3D disciplines and applications.

A comprehensive knowledge of industry practices (preferably also with supervisory experience) is important as well as a deep knowledge of the production pipe line process

As a tutor you will need to be an excellent communicator and very able to effectively manage your time and that of your students

Teaching experience in the 3D field would be a real benefit as would knowledge of current teaching practices to graduate level.
