If you're interested in NZ television, film and music video and you know your way around a keyboard - plus can write, talk on the phone, communicate your ideas clearly and work in a team ... then this might be the job for you!

The role is part-time - 28-32 hours/week and mostly involves working with the Rights Executive to licence TV, Film and Music video titles for publishing on NZ On Screen.

But there's also a bit of:

  • office admin - keeping it together on the home front
  • project coordination - planning and organising people and tasks

You will need to have the following skills and attributes:

  • attention to detail
  • good communication skills - both on the phone and by email
  • be able to spell!
  • have initiative - be able to spot gaps, pick up tasks, come up with ideas, contribute to the team
  • television/film/music industry knowledge and/or awareness - any industry experience is an advantage
  • be organised - be able to keep track of a lot of different tasks and bits of information at the same time
  • be able to work in a team and independently
  • be computer literate - preferably on a mac
  • have good internet experience - know about social media, websites, online technologies
  • know about NZ On Screen and what we do and why we do it!
