Mockumentary Short Film Actors Required
This is a student film project for a 3rd year Digital Design student at AUT. The short film will be a 5min mockumentary filmed at Hunua falls.
The premise is that a 'film-crew' ventures out into the New Zealand forest to film a 'specials' snail. On setting up their equipment at location they find a camera hanging from a tree nearby. The camera shows three friends on holiday swimming at a waterfall before being mauled by an unknown creature. The 'film-crew' themselves then experience this creature first hand and are consequently mauled as well.
The script has been finalized as long with a final dialogue outline, but I will be encouraging improv from the actors so any training in this area such as in Meisner acting would be greatly appreciated.
Oh and all expenses will be covered.
With all that said, this film should be loads of fun and I can't wait to get started!
Acting experience is an advantage but not a must.
Any improv or meisner experience is also an advantage.
