Interactive / Interface Designer

Fracture is an award-winning digital agency based in Auckland, New Zealand. We are a small but highly skilled group, with a great studio and reputation for fun, exciting work.

We have some large projects coming up and we’re looking for Interactive / Interface Designers to help us bring these to life.

In terms of skillset, we are basically looking for the best of the best interactive designers. This means anyone from extremely talented grads, right up to world-class Interactive ADs. We want smart, talented people who love design and are really good at it.

You will need to be highly creative, and driven by the desire to produce amazing creative work. This means conceiving ideas, producing scamps or wireframes, and taking your design and typography through to the finished piece. You should be confident working out the UX / IA of your projects. Obsessive attention to detail, design flair and the desire to innovate are key in this role.

As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for communicating your ideas, and ensuring the integrity of your concept and quality of design are maintained through to the finished piece of work. You will be expected to contribute ideas, and be able to take criticism and give it.

Technically, a comprehensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is required. Experience with After Effects or 2D/3D animation is a big plus. Experience with Flash, HTML, CSS, jQuery and/or other coding languages will also be highly favoured.
