Multimedia Designer
Overview of Role
At Symbiont the Multimedia Designer is responsible for the production of interactive learning resources that communicate concepts or information to learners in a wide range of educational, workplace and business settings.
This role requires a multimedia guru - someone who is skilled in manipulating images and information from a variety of sources including audio, video, still images and text and can use a variety of computer applications and visual and sound techniques.
Work will need to be accurate but also the ability to see 'the big picture' and the contribution made to the overall learning resource is vital.
High levels of creativity, good communication skills, ability to work as part of a team and being comfortable working to deadlines are also must haves.
Duties
- Produce Flash based interactivities for use in education and training resources
- Provide input to the development of e-learning courses
- Work with HTML based template to produce both client and in-house e-learning resources
- Produce visual assets (photographs, diagrams, etc) for use in web, Flash and video environments
