Reporting directly to the Marketing and Commercial Director, the Social Media Specialist will be responsible for contributing to the development and execution of social media strategies. You will assist in the development of customer communications through a variety of channels, from blogs to emails, social media sites to website content and will also be expected to help enhance the program's reach by bringing new ideas to the table as well as improve the current material on offer.

To be successful in the role your will have sound experience in the online industry, be detail-oriented, with marketing, public relations or business-related copy writing and proofreading experience; has the ability to take creative direction, participate in brainstorm sessions and thrives on tight deadlines. You will also be highly organized and self-motivated, currently active in social media, including content publishing, social networking, social bookmarking and targeted fan / follower acquisition and have a clear understanding of the difference in writing for content features and other traditional marketing, direct response advertising.
