DOC Pitch 2011 - applications extended
The submission deadline for the DOC Pitch applications has been extended to Friday, 28 Jan 2011.
DOC Pitch will allow selected filmmakers to pitch their project to a panel of local and overseas commissioning editors, buyers and other funders sitting together in a documentary specific pitching forum.
This is a significant opportunity for filmmakers to pitch their documentary projects to local and overseas commissioners and buyers as well as to make important new contacts. The Panel is able to find out about new and exciting projects. Observers will hear international commissioning priorities direct from the decision-makers as well as to watch & learn from the pitching process.
Up to twelve filmmaking teams will be selected. Selected applicants are invited to attend a master-class on pitching prior to the Pitching Forum.

▪ One-off documentary projects with international appeal and strong co-production potential
