JOURNAL: CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIES
Call for Papers

Submissions are invited for the second issue of the online, open-access publication.
Journal: Creative Technologies, to be published in November 2011. Emerging and post-graduate researchers from around New Zealand are invited to contribute.
 
The editorial board encourages diverse interpretations of the theme of this issue, which is:

"Digital Languages : Computational Metaphors : Digital Storytelling : Hyper-Narrative"

Papers must be received no later than Friday, 17 June 2011. See below for submission requirements.

Submission requirements:
•  Papers should be 4,000 - 5,000 words (including notes and references) in length, and submitted in English, as a Microsoft Word document.
•  References and citations must be Chicago style (author-date).
•  The paper must contain a separate page that includes the paper’s title, an abstract of 100–150 words, the author(s) name and affiliation, full contact details, and a brief biography (4-5 sentences).
•  All graphs, illustrations, and images should be attached in a separate file.
•  All submissions are subject to review by the editorial board.
•  Papers are published under a Creative Commons licence (BY-NC-ND).

ABOUT JOURNAL: CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIES
Journal: Creative Technologies is a new online, open access and peer-reviewed journal for the publication of research and innovation in creative technologies. There is emphasis on papers by emerging researchers, however all researchers are invited to submit papers appropriate to the theme of each issue. The journal has an editor and editorial executive board comprising staff and post-graduate researchers from the Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies at AUT University. The wider editorial board is under development, and it is our intention that expert members from around New Zealand and will be invited to become involved as required.
