Dunedin Ambassador
We are looking for a motivated person to represent the Show Me Shorts Film festival in Dunedin as we grow our festival in this location for 2009.
Show Me Shorts is an annual national short film festival, that will take place from the 12th to the 18th November this year at the Rialto.
We need someone to liaise with the cinema, and local media and filmmakers to help us spread the word about the festival in the lead-up to it. Ideally you are already working in the film and television industry or the media industry (and therefore have some useful contacts) and you love movies, particularly short films.
We would need you to help us contact organisations like NHNZ and local radio stations to let them know about the upcoming festival. You would also need to report back to us on whether our posters and flyers were up at the cinema and around town, and whether people seemed to be aware of the festival. You would get free tickets to the screenings so that you can tell us how they went and what feedback there was from the audience.
