The new director has begun serious planning for the next Christchurch Arts Festival in August 2011.  The Festival needs a General Manager to start as soon as possible, to run the office and manage much of the operational side. This is a unique chance to join a brand-new team creating one of the most special events in the arts calendar.

 The successful applicant will live in Christchurch, have proven event or project management experience, meticulous accounting skills and be able to establish and maintain good relationships with all the people they work with. They must also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to keep all the systems running effectively, efficiently and accurately. 

 If you have all of the above plus a strong commitment to, and understanding of, the community of Christchurch together with a fine sense of humour, we want to hear from you.
