Documentary Edge Festival 2011 - Volunteers
The Documentary New Zealand Trust is looking for volunteers to assist in the Documentary Edge Festival 2011. The Fetival runs in Auckland and Wellington.
This is a chance to work with and network with local and overseas guests as well as to gain valuable experience.
We're looking for people who can help with various tasks including: hospitality, print traffic, outreach/promotions, admin, running, and other tasks.

The Documentary New Zealand Trust
Is a non-for-profit charitable organization that leads and promotes the importance of documentary films and filmmaking in New Zealand to our creative, business and wider communities. The Trust runs several activities including the Documentary Edge Festival, Screen Edge Forum, DOC Pitch, DOC Lab and Documentary Edge Campus.
Documentary Edge Festival is Australasia's premiere international competitive documentary film festival held annually in New Zealand and showcases the very best documentary films from New Zealand and around the World. The Festival includes a Gala Awards, Q&A sessions with filmmakers, social functions and more.
The Screen Edge Forum is an annual Film, TV and All Media industry event focused on innovative ways to create and fund all kinds of screen production. It includes seminars, panels, master-classes, and a pitching forum. The Forum is a place to update your tool-box with cutting-edge ideas and network with local and international professionals and experts. The Forum is a 3-day event that runs at the same time of Documentary Edge Festival. A key event of the Forum is a Pitching Forum (DOC Pitch) attended by local and overseas commissioners, buyers and sales agents where selected projects are pitched with an opportunity to earn a commission or co-production funding.
DOC Lab is a 3-day incubator for transmedia projects. Whether you are in drama or documentary, if you wish to develop digital media ideas across platforms then you should attend DOC Lab.
The Trust is also developing the Docu72, a short form documentaty competition.
