Festival assistant Pasifika
Pasifika Festival 2010 is coming. This is your opportunity to showcase your own particular talents - your exceptional administration skills paired with your detailed understanding of Pacific Island cultures.
This role is critical to the smooth running of the largest Pacific Island event in the World as you support the festival production team with a diversity of tasks from meeting administration, leasing with performers and suppliers, producing the monthly Niusletter through to coordinating with volunteers and crew. Initiative, customer service and adaptability are key to the way you work.
Pasifika Festival is one of the largest celebrations of Pacific Island communities in the world. It includes 3 main stages, 10 cultural 'villages' and over 350 stalls selling everything from fresh coconuts and chop suey through to t-shirts, paintings, tapa and weaving. The 2010 festival will be held across 8 days, starting with a sports tournament on Saturday 6 March and finishing with the festival day at Western Springs Park on the 13 March.
