Admin and Accounts
- A 30 hour per week position located at 110 Moray Place Dunedin.
- Oversee the administration of the Fringe office on a day-to-day basis including answering the phone, responding to enquiries as needed, collecting and posting mail, banking, and purchase of stationary or supplies.
- Be the first point of contact for all queries from artists and other interest groups.
- Coordinate mail-outs and assist with correspondence as required.
- Support the director in preparing material for funding applications and reports.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of an artist, volunteer, organization and supplier database.
- Input all payments and receivables into MoneyWorks accounting programme on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and send invoices and statements to customers.
- Manage petty cash system including entering all transactions in MoneyWorks.
- Prepare and print all financial reports prior to board meetings (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Payables and Receivables, Cash Position).
- Oversee recording and payment of staff wages including the wages book, kiwisaver obligations and the signing and filing of staff time sheets.
- Process and file PAYE and GST returns by the due date.
- Assist with processing artist registrations and artist information for the Fringe Festival Guide.
- Manage floats for Festival venues and banking of box office income.
- Coordinate the distribution and collation of event evaluation forms to audiences, artists and other stakeholders.
- Assist with the promotion of Festival events.
- Assist with the recruitment and coordination of volunteers.
Financial administration and accounting experience.
