We need a translator to translate Hindi and Punjabi into English.

We have filmed an amazing story in India about two girls arranged to be married at a mass, multi-religion wedding. The girls, Meena and Guyatri, show us life in the poorest villages of India and the intimate moment when they must leave their families to start a new life with a husband and family they have only seen in a photograph.

The position would require someone fluent in Hindi, Punjabi and English.

You would be required to translate and transcript (type with a video time code reference) into English several interviews and moments of actuality of the raw documentary footage.

Then in the edit suite you would help with clarifying the nuances of dialogue for the Director.

Remuneration will be assessed according to skill.
