3 Male actors (18+) needed for Student Film
We are looking for actors to play three key roles in our student short film "Brian and Eddy Make A movie". The film is going to be a grindhouse-esque action comedy about two guys who are are making "the ultimate action movie" on an extremely low budget and who will go to any extreme to get that movie made.
Brian is the main character whose whole goal is to make an action movie no matter what, he believes that this movie is going to put him on the map and make him famous. He is the writer, director and lead actor of the movie and is willing to do anything, even kill, to get his movie made.
Eddy is Brian's best friend but he isn't the brightest guy in the world. He is the cameraman for Brian's movie and he follows everything that that Brian says and does even if he isn't so sure about what is going on.
We're seeking two male actors that are aged from around 18 to 30 for the roles of Brian and Eddy, they need to have a kind of slacker look about them. Both characters are obsessed with action movies and in particular Tarantino movies like Reservoir Dogs.
Brad Schmidt is the actor that has been conned into playing the bad guy in Brian and Eddy's movie. He is arrogant and likes to talk in the third person. He becomes a "snuff actor" when Brian kills him during their scene not only because it makes his movie look more real but also because this way he doesn't have to pay him.
We are looking for a male actor who is 25+ to play this role.
As we are student film makers we are unfortunately unable to pay for these roles as it is zero budget, but we will provide food and beverages and will help with transport if necessary. We are hoping to film this over the weekend or early next week up until Thursday so please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested and available to play one of these roles and I can send you through a copy of the script.
Acting - dramatic and comedic. We also need people who are able to run for a minor chase scene.
Please email me asap at chantelle.burgoyne@gmail.com if you are interested.
