Job description: 

The intention of the Producer Awards is to support established producers to develop their slates independently, and to help emerging producers who have produced their first film to sustain their producing career. To this end producers may budget up to 60% of the Award to cover overheads. Each award is worth $50,000.

Holding a Producer Award will not affect a producer’s eligibility to apply for development funding via either the Early Development Fund or the Advanced Development Fund.

Holding a Producer Award will not affect a producer’s eligibility to apply for Producer Market Assistance.

The Awards are for one year only and are non-renewable. You must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident to qualify.
