The purpose of the Rights Manager role is to establish and manage processes and technical solutions that support a centralised rights function.
You will assist in the development of a rights strategy across TVNZ and project manage complex rights related initiatives.
It will be your responsibility to ensure TVNZ is aware of trends, both internationally and domestically, in rights practice. In light of this, you will be best placed to develop rights policies and procedures for the organisation, prepare recommendations for the GM on robust systems to maximise opportunities for TVNZ, and manage and monitor the systems and processes which underpin the rights function.
To be effective in your role, you will establish effective working relationships within TVNZ, and build a network of contacts externally that will assist the rights function in keeping up to date with issues both locally and internationally.
If you have project management experience, within complex environments, together with a strong knowledge of the industry and robust analysis skills, we encourage you to apply. A tertiary education would be desirable but not essential.
