Effects Assistant needed to assist Producer
Hi there,
I'm looking for an assistant who is keen to get to learn post production producing/supervising, by helping me coordinate a CG team of 25 over the next four weeks. We have shot on the RED and are currently working with a number of different file formats to accommodate both Mac and Windows platforms. The film has over 100 effects shots, many of which are yet to be handed out. You'll finish preparing untouched shots for handout, and over the next 4 weeks we need to get all the effects back into the Final Cut timeline to output to Red Cine (via Crimson) to output for the grade.
I am only looking for one person, and the successful candidate will have an interest in learning post production producing or supervising, can use Final Cut Pro, and ideally also After Effects.
Time commitment is part time and flexible. We will meet in the edit suite a couple of hours every couple of days, during working hours. If you are running off Mac with OS 10.5 or above, and have a 1TB hard drive with most its space available, we can set you up to be working from home also.
There is a lot to learn and very few opportunities like this available, therefore you must show high levels of passion and enthusiasm towards this opportunity to be considered.
