Gorilla-TV runs a monthly competition for flimmakers to produce a 4 minute episode that screens on Juice TV if successful. We are up to episode four, the season finale.     Doug oringinally trained as a Biologist and now is a teacher of Drama, Music and Science at Waimea College. There he runs theatresports, the filmmaking club and was the regional coordinator for the Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival.

    Some of acting his credits include a two man show in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Woman in Black, and more recently, his mastery of Macbeth for the Body in Space Theatre Company, which heads to the Adelaide Fringe Festival early next year.

    His versatility as an actor has allowed him to cross over into the realms of film and television, first acting for student films in Edinburgh before some work as an extra with BBC Scotland. His involvement in filmmaking has won him awards and recognition at the 24 hour Leith Film Festival Edinburgh, MovieFest Wellington, Magma Film Festival Rotorua, Big Mountain Film Festival, Wild Rivers 101 Film Festival California and Juice TV.
