Actors wanted for Short Film
This is a great opportunity for any aspiring actors.
It is a film made by the New Zealand Film School and this particular film is to be shot in one day, so it won't take up too much of your time.
3 actors needed:
Female lead:
Age range 17-20, needs to pull off an 18 years old. Character is an "innocent homless girl", adapting to living on the streets with boyfriend. Must be comfortable on camera, and though experience would be prefered, it is not essential as we will work closely with you, providing you show great potential for the role.
Male supporting role:
Age range 23-28, needs to pull off a person around 25 years old. Character is street wise, but a very sensitive person, as he cares for the wellbeing of his girlfriend. Acting experience would be prefered, but as above, it isn't vital, as long as you are best suited for the character
Male storeowner
Age range 25 +. Very intimidating character (tough). Running will be mainly what you are doing, as you are chasing a thief
It is unpaid, but you will be fed and looked after on set, petrol money will be given if needed.
Even though it is a student film, it will be seen by many who may want to use you for their own films, it's a great way to expand your portfolio
Filming date will be one day between 12 February 2010 and 21st February 2010
Any previous acting experience would help
