Film Editor
As a small Production company with zero funds, we have Produced a Short film called 'Dusk' and are now looking for an Editor (unfortunately unpaid).
My name is Rhonda Samoa, Producer for Mabuk Films, a very small outfit with no funds as yet. We have just filmed our first short film, 'Dusk' Dir Helmut Marko.
Made on an $85 budget, we are now looking for an exceptional Editor, hopefully established and experienced as this is an unpaid job, and we were hoping they could Edit our 10min short in their spare time.
We feel 'Dusk' is an exceptionally good short. It is the story of a homeless man who once had promise but is now suicidal and living on the streets of Wellington. In desperation, he car-jacks a successful corporate business woman.
What makes 'Dusk' so appealing? The acting, the various locations, ie Lambton Quay, Willis St, St Mary's of the Angels Church in Boulcott Street, the view from the 10th floor Sybase House L Quay overlooking the rail, centreport, the sea and out to The Hutt, which ends in a realistic car crash with a surprise twist.
We can only offer the Editor a credit and the chance for further exposure when we enter 'Dusk' in various film festivals and competitions both here and abroad.
Any consideration in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
