The New Zealand Racing Board is unlike any organisation you will find in New Zealand. We are the governing body of racing and sports wagering, operating more than 650 TAB retail outlets and three call centres, as well as our own national television and radio channels.

Trackside is our television channel providing live broadcasting or racing events around the country & the world from our broad based racing entertainment programme.

Integral to the Trackside Channel operation is the digital outside broadcast unit. Through the use of the outside broadcast fleet, our regional teams are responsible for the filming of live race day activity.

We are looking for talented Senior Camera Operator to join our Outside Broadcasting Team based in Auckland. This is a permanent salaried position.

This role requires travel and extensive weekend work and the requirement to be able to work regularly on Public Holidays.

We can offer you flexibility, a stable environment of professional broadcasters, ongoing development and experience with digital broadcasting through our state of the art outside broadcasting fleet.

Ideally you will have gained previous experience within a television operations environment and will be experienced in the requirements of filming live television. You will also have some supervisory experience as you will be responsible for the day to day supervision of our on-course operators and assessment of employees completing training.
