The Department of Performing and Screen Arts offers professionally focused education and training through its industry recognised diploma, degree and graduate diploma programmes in the discipline fields of: Acting for Screen and Theatre; Directing and Writing for Screen; Film & TV production; Live Performance & Technologies; Contemporary Dance and Choreography; and Music.  

As a result of a departmental restructure we now have an exciting new full-time vacancy for a Lecturer to teach stage and screen Acting technique, directing for theatre and/or screen. As well as teaching you will be actively involved in research and curriculum design and development. 

 
Applicants must have:

  •  
    • A tertiary qualification in the relevant subject area/s of discipline
    • Relevant discipline based practice contribution (currency, service to profession/industry/community) including directing for theatre and /or screen credits
    • Demonstrated expertise in teaching/training in the areas of theatre and screen technique and directing for the stage and/or screen
