“Jake Seeber” - Summary
Someplace somewhere out there, a typical party ends in untypical violence. Jake just 21, is awkwardly sensitive and inarticulate. Kirsten, the poised distant girl whom Jake loves with mad desperation, is gang raped. She is a survivor. Disillusioned and practical, she rules out revenge. Kirsten has now grown beyond Jake Seeber, who driven by impotent rage hesitantly approaches the law only to learn that the rapists are the ruling mafia clan whom neither he nor the police can touch. Jake is violently uprooted from his safe yet lonely, upper class home. Thus begins the chaotic journey that takes him into the precarious under world, where his only friend, a street urchin offers him mute sympathy until Jake meets Sergeant Murphy an embittered cop – who is eventually goaded by his conscience to look for Jake. An adolescent seeking manhood and the older man seeking his lost innocence come together.

Kirsten
Equivalent to Kristen Stewart. Age 20ish. Mysteriously beautiful, headstrong looks in a mature way, strong voice, tremendous camera presence.
