Camera op / DOP for a short film
Hiya,
We're a small film making team working on a rather unique cross-genre short film. We've lost our camera operator (and his equipment) to circumstances and looking for a replacement.
This film is not a typical indie production I'd say. No blood and gore, no darkness lurking in the bushes... Instead, we're about to borrow the look of four different genres - drama, scifi, fantasy and period movie - which are interweaved into one coherent story.
The production is supposed to take place in february, mostly on weekends. We're preferably looking for someone with an access to a decent HD camera, but will consider any skilled, enthusiastic person who's on the same wavelength...Understanding on different film genres / styles is a plus, as well as other film making experience (gaffer, art dept etc.)
Whatever money we have goes into the production, so sadly we can't pay you. However, there's plenty of artistic freedom, it's fun, only takes up 3-4 weekends and of course food and transport etc is covered by us. We have an great audio engineer / composer and dedicated actors on board, so if you can pull your weight, the production value will be high.
