NZ-CHN couples wanted for documentary
Unitec film students, in collaboration with students from the Beijing Film Academy, are currently in preparation for an upcoming documentary about inter-cultural relationships.
We are looking at relationships between Chinese people and New Zealanders, and the particular challenges that cross-cultural relationships can present. The documentary will be filmed over a three week period during February, and completed in Beijing in July.
Couples may be young, old, straight, gay, married, de facto, divorced, or any other description that happens to fit your relationship. The terms 'Chinese' and 'New Zealander' are also open to your interpretation.
We would love to speak to anyone in the Auckland area who is happy to share their story with us. If you are interested, or have any questions about our work, then please don't hesitate to contact us. Please also feel free to let friends and family know about this opportunity, in case they may wish to speak to us. We are interested in your thoughts and experiences and will treat you with complete respect.
Should be open to telling stories and happy to discuss relationships and culture. We will treat you and your stories with respect.
